If you go out of the message to the forum index page, there is a big button at the top to write new message - if thats what you are looking for??

A couple of things. Firstly, just checking that I can post and my avatar is there.

Secondly, a quick question, can one only post by clicking on the 'reply' button on a previous post? Or am I missing some obvious button on th page?

As far as I can see you're already a in the forum as a "Club Member". Can you see the club specific forums?

I can see the Buy & Sell, and the Club section.....I think I was getting confused over the root page login thing....possibly!

Thanks for fixing this. I hope that eventually I'll be able to use the same username for everything (for the sake of simplicity and my fast deteriorating memory).

Hi Peter,

When setting up accounts as 'club members' we went through those members who had registered and if their e-mail addresses matched those in the database then we added them as 'club members' using their existing registered ids. Unfortunately your e-mail address wasn't in the database but when I noticed this discussion (I'm not going to be a regular viewer of the forum) I added your registered user as a club member. You *may* have received a message about the mNNNNN (where NNNNN is the membership number) accounts. For the forum you can ignore that message and continued using mudhut. The mNNNNN username will be used to get into some (very few at the moment!) areas of the web site and to buy club member only regalia.

Eventually the management of the forum will be in the hands of the club, but while it's all new and there may be technical problems I'll try my best to keep things running smoothly.

I've got it now Rob, thanks - wrong home page as you suspected.

Still can't log in there as a member though!

Stratclub.com - homepage not the forum home page

Member log in on the black bar near the top. This is where club members can log in and allows access to club only areas.

Shop is now live, but I don't know who will pick up an order for anything yet!!!

Once logged in there with the details to be sent out, you should be able to see all the members only items in the shop too. (caps etc everything with the club logo on)

Just to make things worse, I cannot see any login on the LHS of the home page. The only login I can find is the one for registered members. Neil or Rob, could you post up a link to the page where you see the login, or a screenshot if images can be posted?

Which bit(s) of the club area?

I've found that I can change some bits of my profile but not the private e-mail! Trying to do so just causes an error to be reported.
